“Pink Panther” feat. Franck Ribery

The campaign not only led to 100% sell-through on the initial 7,000 units within 24 hours, but the boot became known as the “Pink Panther” from then on.



The Mercurial product silo has become iconic over the years for both performance innovation and bold, disruptive debuts on the feet of the fastest, most prolific strikers.

Designed for speed and to stand out on the pitch, the cutting-edge technology made for a comfortable ride - allowing for sustained play at speed. Together, the aesthetics with the vibrant pick color portrayed speed and created a supersonic look.




In 2008, pink wasn’t the pink we know and love today. 

Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the boot and bold vibrant pink color way, the playful live action and animated film featuring Ribéry escaping his hard-nosed coach was an instant success.






To celebrate the launch of these pink limited edition shoes in Italy, we designed a teaser campaign that featured Marco Materazzi and Amauri and turned La Gazetta pink for a day.






Inspired by 2008, Kylian M’Bappe introduced his player edition, “Pink Panther”, 12 years later.
